Soundwave's Canon History

Cracktran History:

Soundwave's arrival on earth wasn't pleasant. He crashed on one of the Caribbean Islands and got stuck in a military base on his alt-form. Since all the Decepticons were still at the bottom of the sea, or arranging the rescue of said mechs, he had to deal with being stranded on his own. He managed by appropriating a warehouse and passed the time making high grade, getting washed by the squishies and trying to convince Frenzy to stop drinking espresso.  By the time he got out of that island, not only was the war over and there was a third faction, but Sector 7 had appeared.

He's still mourning the loss of his high grade, although he's made more of it and keeps it hidden away where no one would find it. His most memorable moments include: getting his aft handed down by Ravage, having Megatron shoot down the ceiling on him and being found by Blackout tripping on him.

Most of his Cassettes have arrived, or at least his favorite ones. Unfortunately, they all seem to leave him or cause him more problems at one point or another. He tried to force Frenzy back to him, but that only got him shot and ordered to the brig by Hook. Ironically, it is Frenzy the only one of his creations that actually try to help him.

Contrary to what the rumors say, he and Elita-1 did not got bonded while drunk. She seems to tolerate most of the things he does and he tries to keep her happy. He's constantly screwing up though and is constantly apologizing. It is debatable if she'll forgive his latest stunt.

He has admitted to a one night stand with Brawl long ago. Soundwave has kissed him twice after arriving on Earth, both times drunk, and has suffered Elita-1's wrath each time. For some strange reason, he kept drinking with the other mech. They've done more than go back to being BFFs and bonded.

Maybe it was the crash, the contact with the humans, their tinkering on him, the telepathic malfunction or Earth, but his processor isn't exactly working straight. Once, he tried to kill Frenzy, Elita-1 and Hook when it malfunctioned again. He hasn't been working much, since using his telepathy hurts and his communications are not working as they did before and it annoys him.
