-Canon Information - Movieverse-

Landmine was brought to life by the Allspark during the Mission City battle.  He trains under Ironhide.  ...Yep.

-Cracktrans Information-

Landmine's random communication was picked up by Jazz sometime in January - the Autobot (along with the help of Glit) quickly went to retrieve the sparkling, who had been hanging around one of the large, destroyed bases of Sector-7, in a nearby minefield.  Jazz and Glit invited the poor boy back to base, and since he had nowhere else to go, he decided to take their hospitality.

This is strange, because Landmine is pretty terrified of - or at least anxious towards - the Transformers as a whole, as he had been living with Sector-7 for his entire life as a sentient being.  The Transformers, to him, were the enemy, and it's taking him a while to reconcile this fact with that of Ironhide training him (as well as his fellow newly-sparked, Longarm).  Because of this, however, Landmine is... rather paranoid about things.  At one point, he was found to be living in a supply closet he had rigged up as a room for himself.  (Starscream, incidentally, was the one who found him there.)  It's unknown where he's living now that that supply closet has been found out - but you can bet it's probably another one a few halls down.

Other than that, he's not had much action.  He's currently looking into what Indiana Jones' hat does for the famous adventurer, how he can apply it to himself, and also how well tinfoil hats really work.

Even though Landmine hasn't yet picked up a holo (or even know that he can), you can bet that it will definitely be this amazing fellow.
