Fireflight combines a childlike sense of wonder with the soul of a daydreamer, resulting, unfortunately, in one major menace to airborne navigation. Near collisions and crashes come fast and frequent when he's around. If Aerialbots had to be certified to take to the air he'd have been grounded for life long ago. Fireflight means well and has a good heart, he just can't help losing himself in the beauty of the world when seen from the sky. It's hard for his teammates to get too mad at someone so filled with wonder and innocence, but at the same time it's also hard to fly next to someone whose never paying any attention to where he's going.

Fireflight combines with his fellow Aerialbots to form Superion.

Cracktrans

Fireflight arrived on earth shortly after Megatron and co. were removed from trench and Thundercracker had split off from the Decepticons to form the crackicons third faction. At first, he was very naive and innocent, resulting in a lot of facepalming amongst those he turned his attention to (See: sparkly signs on Megatron/Prime's and Starscream/Skyfire's doors). He was set up to be kidnapped by Sector 7 by Swindle at one point, but was rescued by Megatron, Thundercracker and Optimus.

He developed a strong affection for both Skywarp and Thundercracker, although he ended up bonding with Skywarp. He's happy with them and you couldn't find a more optimistic person. He's always trying to cheer up his friends and bringing a little sunshine and rays of hope into other mechs lives (whether they want it or not). He also told off Sixshot once and lived. During Thundercracker and Sunstorm's abduction he did a lot of thinking about life and cast off his previous naivety. He also punched Swindle for backstabbing him that one time, but he still likes the little bastard.

More recently, he was brainwashed by Unicron (tentacles = very no), but brought back by Optimus' Matrix-fu. Since then he's been slightly more jittery, but he's recovering. The flyer is learning how science works from Skyfire and Starscream, who Fireflight has adopted as an older brother, no matter what those other jerks think about Screamer.

Fireflight is smarter then most percieve him to be, but he really doesn't mind what people think of him. He's happy the way he is.

It is also a known fact that Fireflight > world. Possibly also Fireflight > Primus. When in doubt, assume that Fireflight can top it and make it almost feel bad about what it done wrong. (This even works for Starscream, who has an external moral system.)
